So my cousin Brielle has made a a FaceBook page, Leap for Livi! Its like the Polar Plunge thing. So awesome!!! I just can't believe how many people can care. It really helps on a week like this! I am herxing something fierce! (Herxing is when bacteria is dying off so fast that your body can't keep up with it and you are soooo sick, in short: it sucks!) So at least now that I am having an incredibly painful and utterly lonely week cooped up in my house I may have some amusement of seeing people leaping for me. That is pretty great! Thank you all for being such awesome people! I really appreciate you all! I am so excited to see your crazy videos of jumping into random bodies of water with your fun speeches and nominations! I will be waiting to see the first uploaded one on the Leap for Livi page! -Livi XOXOXOXO
Livi, This Leap is so incredibly awesome! What a great way to spread Lyme Awareness! You are going to have to make this an annual event! As for the herxing, I am SOOOO sorry! I know how awful that can be. YUCK! Make sure that you drink as much water as possible. You have got to stay hydrated. Consider adding lemon...fill a pitcher (I use a Tupperware pitcher with a sealing lid) with water, cut up a lemon and add to the pitcher, I then put the pitcher in the fridge, as I can only handle cold water, for a minimum of an hour (I put it in there for at least overnight), then the next morning I add ice to a glass and pour the lemon water through a strainer into the glass to avoid the pulp & any seeds, then enjoy...note: it has a kick, but this is really good for detox and stomach aches (lemon helps settle your tummy). You can also heat it up like you would a cup of tea. Praying for you, Livi! <3 ya, Sydni

I was a normal teen, or so I thought, until I discovered I was a host to several bacteria living within me just lurking in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to make their grand entrance! Now, I am faced with pain, isolation, boredom, learning way too may medical terms, and spending lots of time with my mom....lots!
